Preference window doesn't open (Gnome)

I'm using Mega on a Bluefin installation. The application works, my files are synced both ways. But I cannot open the preferences or status window from Mega. In the system tray I see 3 dots when synchronising, no icon. Which is fine, since there is the application itself, though that wont open any windows either.
