High RAM usage

After recent updates, the application went from 145MB to 250MB of RAM usage, which is a lot for an application that doesn't even have a graphical interface.

Furthermore, it is an application that is open all the time and it must have low RAM usage.

MEGAsync has a GUI (you wouldn't even be able to use the app cuz it doesn't have command line options), you mean MEGAcmd.

MEGA has a tray icon, a menu and a settings window. The tray icon is managed by the desktop environment and both the menu and configuration window are not open, that's why I said that MEGA 'doesn't have' a graphical interface.
