Files are thrown back-and-forth between two PCs, Windows and Mac

I have two PCs and when both of them are online and a new file is created, it's first uploaded to MEGA, then downloaded on the other PC, then is uploaded back to MEGA from the other PC and downloaded back to the first. Is there a way I can fix this? Besides turning off the other computer, which works.
