Franz won't open the Finder window when trying to attach a file

Issue

When attaching a file in a message the expected result is the MacOC will open the Finder window which allows selecting a file to attach. This does not happen.

The issue persist for several months now. At the time of posting it has become severe and it happens several times per day if actively using the feature.

Remediation Restarting Franz does help but it is annoying because the problem is reoccuring again (
