WeChat Service No Longer Working

When add new service of WeChat, was prompted with warning dialogue box from WeChat about security protection.

Prompt message pop up after scan QR and login from phone. and login from phone.

CHI/ENG [微信/WeChat] search query inputs result in the same 'no records found'.

Wechaty had the same problem. Essentially WeChat for Web no longer works for bridging if you have a newer account. WeChaty switched their focus to an iPad based login setup. WeChat doesn't support the use of 3rd party clients so the the hard part is frequent breakage of different bridges when they change the rules.
