Brazilian Portuguese words have started to act like Arabic

First of all, i will be forever grateful for this api as this is what let me make one of my most successful apps JADA. Arabic never worked for me with the api for some reason and now Brazilian Portuguese doesn't either, can this be fixed? I am thinking this is part of the gradual migration to the wikitionary api but I'm not sure.
