Install apt in Debian?

I can't find apt in the Debian terminal install. Is there an easy way to install it or do I have to download it and all dependencies and use dpkg? I also tried CentOS terminal and didn't find yum.

apt is already installed on debian... at least if you connect via ssh the configuration menu terminal that opens via the web is from the base system and doesn't have much to do with debian
