Can't install any distro

Open sirgt opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

Hi, I'm having problems installing any distro on a Samsung Galaxy S6, at first I wasn't getting any error message, just: [00:47:14] >>> deploy [00:47:14] <<< deploy

Then I updated the PATH variable with /system/xbin and that got me further but in the end, I'm getting this error:

+ tar xzf /data/user/0/ru.meefik.linuxdeploy/files/include/bootstrap/centos/filesystem.tgz -C /data/local/mnt tar: can't create symlink './lib' to 'usr/lib': Operation not permitted

I've installed Centos on a Motorola G5 with no problems, the only difference is the ARM processor (32bits vs 64bits)

Here is the log from the installation

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Would love to know you ever got past this step as I'm stuck with the same issue of >>> deploy <<< deploy
