Please, publish your great project to it. FOSS Android projects need be there.
This app in submission queue F-Droid... See #51 https://f-droid.org/forums/topic/linux-deploy/
Oh, that's encouraging. Will wait for actual submission.
Has it already been added?
@xeverse No, it hasn't. As far as I understood F-Droid's repo-maintainers just don't have enough time to manage such a lot of applications. Unfortunately... @meefik Is it possible to download Linux Deploy's .apk-file somewhere else than Google Play?
All apk's is available from https://github.com/meefik/linuxdeploy/releases
@meefik Thank you! Anton, would you be so kind to update README.md with this link. I think there are many people as me, that don't see this obvious link :)
I added the link in README.
@meefik Небольшое спасибо улетело :)
@SkyWheel Спасибо)
Bump. Would be lovely to see it there.
Hei there just a small update, if you reely want this app on f-droid you can write the buildscript for it your self. Here is the buildscript for one of my apps that uses SDK/NDK: https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/blob/master/metadata/org.schabi.etherwake.txt
If you want to contribute,
- fork that fdroiddata repo
- add your own build script
- check if CI accepts
- send a merge request
Here a reference to the build instructions for linux deploy: https://github.com/meefik/linuxdeploy/tree/master/contrib
This is nowadays submitted through an issue on F-Droid GitLab repository. More precisely, there is a Request for Packaging available. It would be better if the maintainer submits, so that any updates are communicated directly. I have submitted some other OS apps and the process was fairly easy.
Currently available on izzy repo: https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/index/apk/ru.meefik.linuxdeploy
A Requests For Packaging has been opened here: https://gitlab.com/fdroid/rfp/-/issues/2105
