Is it possible to rename the files of downloaded vidoes?

I regret using the default settings used to download some sources, so I am wondering, will TS automatically change the names of downloaded files if I modify the source settings?

without a rename, can i just delete all the files in the directory, and it will go do it again with the updated format?

You can manually rename video files that have been downloaded and they will not be redownloaded unless you skip then unskip the item. There's a "is downloaded" flag which is set to "true" once the item is downloaded so you would need to clear that flag before the item would be redownloaded.
