[bounty] use assistant-ui across chat UIs (search, timeline)

definition of done:

  • use https://www.assistant-ui.com/ in search and timeline chats
  • make sure the markdown rendering still works (embedding video etc)
  • make sure different AI providers still works (eg openai, gemini, anthropic, ollama, ...)
  • share a video plz to show it works

I have a few questions here:

  1. are we trying to replicate the UI design of assistant-ui to search and timeline in screenpipe.
  2. also without affecting the functionality.

i don't get it, an you share more mockups or something, did you try search even? it has nothing to do with a search bar, it's more like a perplexity like interface

@louis030195 what exactly are we trying to implement? Is it the ai responding with results or just the UI of assistant-ui ?

i just wanted to use a better UX than what we have for the chat messages for example, it should be easier to edit your chat messages, etc. ideally like cursor UI where it's really easy to back on previous messages, press enter, cancel generation,etc.
