Media encoding is pending

docker compose deployed.

Posted several mp4 videos. The video is less than 2G. It's all over night. It still shows “Media encoding is pending” , can't use it at all! image

I was wondering, can the transcoding behavior not be skipped? If the video I submit is relatively clear, no transcoding is required. That's fine.

@mgogoulos Free to help answer the next bar, basically upload a video is not a normal playback.

Read the issue, transcode a lot of hanging.

Same issue here with the "do_not_transcode" option enabled.

Hi @tonycody, it is possible to skip transcoding, see https://github.com/mediacms-io/mediacms/pull/829 for some information. For some strange reason it does not seem to work anymore after it worked for a short amount of time. Therefore I openend an issue yesterday.

I hope that I'll have more time this weekend to troubleshoot this, see https://github.com/mediacms-io/mediacms/issues/976. I still have one instance running where this is working fine but I don't see any differences for now.
