I often translating text in other languages into English. However, after installing this plugin, some translated texts are missing. It is severely hindering me to understand the text correctly. So, how can I solve that?

Hi @zhenlingcn ! What extension do you use for text translation? Can you reproduce the problem by disabling Words Discoverer for the current page (1. Switch mode or remove the current site from favorites. 2. Refresh the page) ? Could you also attach a screenshot of translation with/without Words Discoverer active?

I use the built-in translation tool of chrome for text translation. The problem is dismissed when I disable Word Discoverer. The problem is so prevalent that it reappears in almost every translation scene. With Words Discoverer active: image

Without Words Discoverer active: image

Thanks! I was able to reproduce this:

  1. Open https://www.dw.com/de/premier-johnson-aus-klinik-entlassen/a-53101231
  2. Use "Translate this page" tool in the Chrome search bar to translate to english
  3. Observe missing "spokesman in London, Johnson will continue to stop government affairs for the time being on medical advice" passage in the first paragraph.

I will try to look into this problem

Any recent progress? I find this tool is handy, and hope to use it more widely.

I am planning to disable the extension on all non-english pages. Chrome has API for language detection so we can use it.
