html5-qrcode Some Mobile Phone not Supporting QR Scanning

Hi Mebajs,

I am using the plugin and it is going really great but on some devices, it is not working and the camera is not opening. the list of the device is below:

J4+ Version Android 10 J2 Pro Version Android 10 Huawei P30 LITE Version Android 10 Samsung J7 prime Version Android 9.5 huawei Y9 Version Android 10

Could you please help to get some insight on this issue?

Hi thanks for raising this issue, can you share what is the issue faced on devices where it's not supported?

There was a recent regression in demo code which broke it for some devices. The issue has been fixed - can you retry if it fixes the issue on the devices you mentioned?

Thanks, I will ask the users to check on the same. Do I need to use the updated library file or with an earlier file also it will work?

Please check if https://blog.minhazav.dev/research/html5-qrcode works on these devices, if so the latest library should work as well.

im using chrome on iphone, and not working. I can't scan the Qrcode. Stuck on camera (didn't get response). Anyone know how to fix this issue?
