KISS won't save if VBAT is hot

So, I just ordered some modules to run this, because its badass, then I remember KISS has the safety feature that won't allow you to save settings if VBAT is hot, how does this work? Is there a work around/hack for this?

I really want to begin using this awesome setup!

I use battery bank to power the FC and the ESP when I need to do something on it :)
