this seems to work ok:

  ....
  server.addHandler(&events);
  DefaultHeaders::Instance().addHeader("Access-Control-Allow-Origin", "*");
  DefaultHeaders::Instance().addHeader("Access-Control-Allow-Headers", "*");
  server.begin();
