import_txt and import_folders fails on install ...

Using keepass on ubuntu 12.04, (1) as installed via the .deb (0.7.8) and (2) as installed via git clone, and then "python install ..." (reports version 0.7.9)

When I try to install the import_txt and import_folders extensions, both downloaded from git, the install fails. Nevertheless, the menu item:

File >> Import Notebook >> Import txt ... 

exists, but when selected it does nothing.
