Update the performance section in docs
Description
The performance section is seriously out of date. We should update it with what we now know, together with some best practices for improving performance. Some questions:
- How many procs to request for "best" performance?
- What's the most number of procs that can be reasonably requested to improve walltime?
- What's the memory requirements for different options? Is this info still up to date?
- Adjoint performance?
- How to load balance for multipoint problems?
