In Moodle Certificate not displaying course completion date

I am using Moodle and having a problem with the plugin certificate builder I had created my template correctly, but now that learners are starting to complete the course, I've noticed the course completion date is missing from their generated certificates. This date showed up correctly when previewing the certificate. Also if I choose the issue date the date will show correctly on the certificate.

Also more context all the learner have completed their course and once they download the cert completion date is not shown.

I believe Course Completion needs to be configured.

We experience this issue as well on Moodle 4.1.

Basically, we have discovered that the date field will generate on any activity completion/restriction requirement within the course. However, if you choose the option for the Course-level completion, participants will not have any dates generated on their certificates when retrieved by them.

We had been providing our users with the workaround of basing the certificate on a final activity in the course rather than it be triggered at the course-level.
