This is indeed a critical upgrade -- however what do you think about the loss in clarity and debuggability that comes from removing the explicitly named function?
Also, ES6 updates will necessitate upgrading the .travis.yml to run with a ... slightly newer version of Node. Maybe we should try this with a really old LTS, like version 4, just to be on the safe side? Backward compatibility is of vital importance for such an important fundamental part of the JavaScript ecosystem.
