carousel lag problem with different size pictures

Expected behavior

I expected different size pictures to be able to transform and change with ease and smoothly

Actual behavior

when transitioning from a bigger picture to a smaller picture, the bigger picture is still visible under the smaller picture for a second before it is hidden

Your working environment and MDB version information

4.19.1 the latest version using it for static sites and using the jquery version
