What needs to happen so I can play with my HTC VIVE wands?

I tried,it seems like there's no way yet... Maybe the author will support it in a future version

Until Sorenon finishes the new input system, you can try the basic vive controller support in my fork: https://github.com/xanthousm/MCXR. If the input system update is still a long way to go, I can put in a pull request once its been tested by enough people.
