Cannot quit the game

[Catastrphic]

I have to use task manager to close the game. the close button doesn't work, alt-f4 doesn't work, the in-game exit button doesn't work. only way to fix this is to move the mod to my storage folder.

steps to reproduce: open the game and try to close it.
