Can't Access Files on Pi

Open codiac2600 opened this issue 6 years ago • 6 comments

I've finally got everything working but I have 2 major bugs.

This bug pertains to viewing files stored directly on the Pi. I cannot see them whatsoever. The are there and I can access them from the web but I cannot access them from the TFT screen. It stays blank the entire time.

If I insert an SD card those eventually appear.

Someone else already asked this question and was never answered so I'm bringing it up again to hopefully get answered.

https://github.com/noxhirsch/OctoPrint-TFT might have a fork to address this. I found it while looking for a newer release, since I can't seem to get this one to run. It just keeps segfaulting over and over. The panel seems fine, I can run the normal gui, just not octoprint-tft.

I've done a clean OctoPi install on an older 2 I have to test, all the dependencies installed clean, just can't get this to run :(

Seems that the current version of OctoPrint-TFT only shows the files located in the ~/.octoprint/uploads directory. Any folders that have been added in the Octoprint UI are not listed

I have a simple question, how do you browse through files? I can only see 4 files and I can not move down.

same question as @romualdrichard ... checking other issues now to see if this is reported elsewhere

I figured out the scrolling issue @romualdrichard ... you need to scroll up/down over the arrow buttons in the file list. This looks like a simple zoning matter. possibly because the filename already has an action for when it is touched (load the file).
