Freeze while printing
The ui freezes during every single print, the web ui works, printing works, but the tft ui hangs after it comes back from screen saver and only a reboot helps. It happens after 10-40 mins into the print. Using latest octopi and octopi-tft.
Hi. I have the same problem, It's freezes the interface after some minutes.
I'm having the same issue. Anywhere between 4 -15 minutes into a print the UI freezes. The print continues, but the UI is completely unresponsive. I'm using the latest version of OctoPI and Octoprint-TFT (I built from source). I have disabled the screensaver thinking that might be the issue, but it's still doing it.
I have the same issue. After few minutes printing the UI is frozen. Print status is no longer updating and the buttons are unresponsive. Any solution for this available?
I have managed now almost everything and it would be great to fix also this remaining topic. Octoprint-TFT is the best UI for small screens.
Is there any possibility to debug the issue and find out the root cause? The issue only happens in printing mode. I guess there is some issue in updating the printing status (e.g. printing progress, etc.) regulary. Octoprint-TFT is sooooooooo great and i hope the remaining issue will be fixed sonn.
All working well in my end now the only issue keep happening to me seem to be known issues but making it not possible to use octoprint-tft:
Screen get's stuck after few minutes in printing status menu (issue #34)
and
Freeze while printing (issue #28)
Any solution for them yet?
Is there anyone it's not happening to him?
Any workaround?
I am having the exact same issue. I am trying to disable the screen saver or disable power management to see if this solves the problem. Thank you
