Feature request: IPv6

Hi,

is there any chance for future support of IP(v6) in addition to the deprecated (since 1998) legacy-IP (IPv4)? ;-)

I'm currently using 1.5beta7 tcptraceroute tells me something about

Bad destination address

Just wanted to leave this here as a feature request. Would be really nice if someone could implement this.

Andreas's point that IPv4 is "legacy IP" is correct -- though I agree people will find this by searching for IPv6 more than "current generation of the IP protocol" :-) Big thumbs up on this feature request -- I use v6-only reachability for many services for security and other reasons a lot.
