What did you use as a buffer from the IF?

Did you power the buffer by the rtl-sdr bias tee?

Hi, no, actually I didn't use any buffer at all, since the TS-180 has already a dedicated IF output for the SM-220 scope. People generally use the Clifton Labs Z10000 or something like that: zero gain, maximum stage decoupling.
