It would be very helpful to have automatic detection of when the ControlNet input image does not match the generated resolution.

I am requesting this because the results are horrible and inaccurate when the resolutions do not match and I could not figure this out until hours of troubleshooting with no apparent reason why the same process was working fine in EasyDiffusion and Automatic1111.
