When you set your Windows 10 to dark theme ... isn't 7-Zip dark also ?

Can you make some screenshoots ? Maybe with notes what should be changed ?

It's also white when dark theme in Windows 10 sets.

What should be changed - and maybe can you ask Standard 7-Zip author ? I just wanted to have an version with zstd codec, and now a lot new features get added and the difference to Standard 7-Zip gets bigger ...

I will not try to add some dark mode - I don't need it - and I also have no time for this.

I guess, "merged" is wrong word here - you have to extend it and implement the select option (to switch the themes), etc... Or always provide 2 sets of executables (with light and dark themes). Or 7zDark.ini? But it looks like a bit different executable to me (at least on the screenshots) and needs another library - darkmodelib.

Maybe, the effort is the same as provide 2nd theme from scratch (since we don't have much UI forms here). However we'd probably not say No, for some branch, so welcome with PR.

@sebres I think exe can be replaced, I am using https://github.com/ozone10/7zip-Dark7zip/releases/download/v24.09-v0.5.0.0/7z-zstd-v24.09-v1.5.7-R1-dark-x64.zip to replace files from https://github.com/mcmilk/7-Zip-zstd/releases/download/v24.09-v1.5.7-R1/7z24.09-zstd-x64.exe.

There is new https://github.com/ozone10/7zip-Dark7zip/actions/runs/16836587836.

Colors can be changed with "7zDark.ini", so only one exe version.

I will ask there if PR can made.
