2 Wire Speed Sensor Support

Open SVeilleux9 opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

Support for 2 wire speed sensors would only require a simple schematic. Simplest of schematics would be a 50 Ω low side resistor and an op-amp or Schmidt trigger to switch at ~10.5 mA. If "big proteus" has the IO supporting at least 4 - 2 wire speed sensors would be helpful for wheel speed sensors and transmission sensors.

A popular 2 wire speed sensor that came out recently can be found here. https://www.allegromicro.com/en/products/sense/magnetic-speed/wheel-speed-sensor-ics/a19302

This part shows 2 popular protocols, Pulse Width and AK. There is a third popular protocol called "speed" which is slightly different which is described in this datasheet https://www.allegromicro.com/en/products/sense/magnetic-speed/wheel-speed-sensor-ics/ars19200
