Refueling Ability
Quick question / issue I had when running this was the ability for the program to allow refueling. Mine does not work, every time it wants to it selects the launch function lifting me off the carrier.
Has anyone else seen this or have had this problem?
If the keypresses get out of sync, that will have undesired outcomes. One of them is to launch the ship, another is to end up in the PowerPlay screen. You need to remember to tell CATS how many "up" presses it needs to do to get to the Tritium line when transferring cargo via your ship. You need to remember to put a ton of tritium on your ship before you count, as the tritium line may move when it's been used once. You need to remember to put the right-hand panel back to its "home" tab before you run CATS, and make sure Elite has the focus before CATS starts sending keypresses.
This usually happens because of keybinds - make sure the keybind for opening the internal (right) panel is default (4)
I found another bug of sorts @mck-9061. I fixed the key binding to where it will properly go to the "transfer" inventory. though when it counts the number the user inputted to where the tritium is at. it only clicks the command of "up" scroll. which in my example tritium was 38 in the list. so it counted "up" 38 times. To get to the tritium you have to go "down" 38 times so it didn't grab the tritium. Is there a way to change the sequence to sit at the top item of the list and count "down" that many times -1 due to it being at the top of the list already?
This is addressed in the readme. Transfer a unit of tritium from your carrier to your ship first, this moves tritium to the top of the list.

When I try this it creates a line for tritium at the top of the list but it is wrong it says I have 1 trit in my ships cargo hold and 0 in the carrier's hold. There is a second Tritium line (which is still down to get to) that has the tritium that is stored in the carrier in it. And when I go to that Trit line at the top I can only transfer the 1 trit back to the carrier I can't transfer the trit from the carrier.
Also I tried to tell cats not to refuel (I was only going a short distance) but I still ended up launched off the ship rather than jumping.

I concur. There are now two lines for each transferred commodity, one for contents of the carrier, one for the contents of the ship.
This is a low-impact bug introduced by Frontier recently, but it does mean the transferrable tritium in the carrier is always in the same slot. It will affect CATS if there are more than eight items in the carrier that appear above the tritium, because it means you need to go down the list, rather than up.
A potential CATS solution is to allow a negative figure for the number of "up" presses, but it will still need to go "up" once to get on the list, and then go down.
The reasonable current solution is to get rid of enough commodities from the carrier that transferrable tritium appears on the list on entry. It's not enough to transfer other commodities to the ship, they will still appear at the top of the list. If you have an alt account you might use that to store commodities.

That's a different issue. If it can be reproduced, it needs its own post.
fuck sake, thanks fdev I'm on holiday at the moment so a fix for this probably won't be soon but I'll look into it when I can.
@MoridinUK Ship launching is usually caused by either lag or not having the default menu navigation keybinds

I'll have a look but my keybinds for navigating the panels are all default. Maybe I did something wrong...
I found if long press "UP", the selection will eventually locate on the first item in stock. Hope this may help solve this issue.

I tried this one to fix this issue #44
Fixed in #52 (overdue I know, I had misplaced hope that fdev would fix it)
