Provide option to configure destination path for sqlite3 database file

Feature request: make the destination path configurable where the sqlite database is saved.

Reason: I'm running a cluster with several hundred servers that all boot from read-only NFS share. I need a way to configure the path where the persistent sqlite file is saved.
