Research requiring Research Module Energy do not work
Using Futurepack-1.18.2-33.0.7441
Similar to what person qrss had reported in Bug report #613 .

Almost exactly the same issue, except in 1.18.
Playing on a Server with the Another Quality Modpack 3 modpack.
Any way to solve? Also I am able to dupe with the Industrial Furnace similar to bug report #918

#613 was a user issue and I am unable to reproduce #918 - can you make a video/gif and post it in the #918 thread (so we can keep one bug per issue)
That being said I can recreate the dupe bug with the Industrial Furnace, so I will upload that first

this is very interesting because #613 was the same, it happened and after a restart it fixed itself. This measn that the bug does exist but only under very narrow conditions and only after a certain amount of playtime, so maybe while playing you triggered something that caused this. what was the research you tried to research and what did you do befor that ?
I was researching redstone tube. The modpack is not stable and I have been kicked multiple times from some weirdness, but all client side. I was just kicked when I started the research. When i came back it stopped. After server reset it was able to move again. Trying to see if I can replicate the issue

Sorry I previously was confused about your instructions. I have posted this gif to #918
I have noticed a similar bug where it will state that there is no energy available despite being connected to a Neon power source, and will continue to say there is none until you put the item to process into the slot, in which case it will cease complaining and start working. In this case, it should have not complained at all since Neon was readily available.
EDIT: solved by cheat commands
- i had to spawn a Neon Coil because the recipe was broken/didnt unlock (cant figure out how)
Place the Energy Module next to Researcher
Put Coal inside Generator, next to Energy Module (and had wires under Energy Module+Researcher)
I also noticed apparently infinite energy...
generator shows 32 NE
Energy Module keeps going up...

I'm having this bug right now. I've tried
- taking recipe in and out
- restarting server
- moving researcher next to Generator
- Generator > neon pipe > Researcher
- furnace > researcher
The Dirt block won't run at all. but the neon crystal is 100%

trying to make this 
maybe its because i havent unlocked neon? its a question Mark unlike everything else. All i did was run around the spaceship loking dungeon, that i entered from a teleporter

of course that recipe doesnt work, its wrong look at the e-scanner for teh correct recipe

we are testing it on our server and never had such a problem so I suspect this was the last few burn ticks of the coal where the flame was already no longer visible (but could be a bug as you described would need more testing from your end as I cant reproduce this )

energy cables dont wokr for the research system they need network cables. so eithe rpalce the researcher and the neon module nexto to each other or connect them with a netowrk cable.
the damn JEI recipe was wrong... after looking at the discovered/already unlocked section I found the correct one. Thank you!

Scanner > Basics tab > Tech Table > Misc
there is a fixed version but I dontknow if tis on curseforge already. down grade JEI to 9.7 and it should be fixed.
