Playout Redundancy Option

Is there plans for redundant playout operations support because it very important for 24x7 playout operations.

if i have two seperate casparcg server ( both servers are having same content) and caspar's playout client will send commands to both servers; and client have selection for main and backup server if one server having some hardware or software etc.. or just one server crashed then playout client will automatically switch on backup.

i dont know it is possible for you but this is just my opinion.

I see. This is not planed yet. But you can easily reconnect the client to an other server and go on with the same playlist.

The automatic detection is not so easy and the client is planned from scratch to satisfy single server use. But I will keep this in mind.
