Streams not always detected as being online

I have 31 chats open in tc. 7 are streaming right now, but only the 3 leftmost are showing the "red online dot" in the tab. Just to try, I moved the fourth one left a bunch of times and eventually it showed as online. It seems like a stream needs to be around the 10 leftmost tabs to show as online.
