Wrong distro detection

Open Jeff-WuYo opened this issue 5 years ago • 0 comments

Hi, I'm using ver 9.2.0, and I run in some issue. As the title says, I get the wrong distro detection on windows. Here are some quick examples.

  • clonezilla detects as redhat which suppose to be ubuntu or debian
  • gparted detects as redhat which suppose to be debian
  • manjaro detects as arch which is correct
  • ezgo detect as ubuntu which is correct

Since the wrong distro detection, when I install all of them on a usb thumb stick, the one with wrong detection won't boot, neither EFI nor Legacy. However, when I use ver 9.2.0 on manjaro (installed from AUR), everything works as intended. Is there any way to manual select the distro or somehow fix it? I did find some similar issue https://github.com/mbusb/multibootusb/issues/401, and I don't know if it is the case.

Another minor issue. Multibootusb can't detect my usb thumb stick when I use mkfs on manjaro but can detect it when I use diskpart on windows.
