Can't install Slackware 14.2

Open haary opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

Tried different Slackware ISOs. Using devel version because of the "NameError: name 'config' is not defined" issue.

Error: Command '7z l "/home/slackware-14.2-install-d1.iso" 2> /dev/null' returned non-zero exit status 2

What does 7z say if you run 7z l "/home/slackware-14.2-install-d1.iso" from shell?

I have same problem with multibootusb trying all official Slackware ISOs. Of course, this isn't the end of the archive: 7z l slackware64-14.2-install-dvd.iso error log. I verified the completed download, and installed fine from this ISO several times on several PCs (so did others I talked to)... don't know why you'd use 7z (Windows-originated?,) rather than something such as cdrtools' isoinfo, to analyze an (GNU/Linux) ISO...
