detaching firebug toolbar brokes up pixel perfect

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open Firebug.
  2. Detach Firebug from the main firefox window
  3. Go to pixel perfect firebug tab.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The expected output should be <pp_bug1.png> but... It will appear as <pp_bug2.png>

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? PP: v0.6.1 SO: Win XP Pro SP3 (x86). Firefox v3.0.7

Please provide any additional information below. If you, once you've detached firebug window, return to the main FF window and refresh the page, pixelperfect will show as should <pp_bug3.png>.. but it still useless 'cause no event is triggered when you click the overlay enable button

I can replicate this problem with Firefox 3.6.13 on OSX 10.6.6

As a result I'm ditching PixelPerfect

I consistently have this problem with Firefox 4.0, Firebug 1.7 and Windows 7 Pro (64-bit).

Currently detaching is not a feature. It will be available in the next version but as of right now it will not work.
