Several problems

Open Sorcy opened this issue 13 years ago • 4 comments

Firefox 5.0 Windows 7 64bit Firebug 1.8.0 Pixel Perfect 1.6.1

Problem 1: The Link under "Help -> Pixel Perfect home" leads to http://openhouseconcept.com/projects/pixelperfect/, which is a dead link

Problem 2: Pixel Perfect does not open when clicking on the Pixel Perfect Icon in the Addon toolbar, it does open when I click the firebug icon and move to pixel perfect. It does not close when clicking on the Pixel Perfect Icon, so apparently the Icon is without function at the moment.

Problem 3: When adding overlays they do not appear immediately, but i have to close firebug and reopen it to see them

Problem 4: Dragging an overlay does not update the numbers in the positioning fields. Sometimes the arrows for positioning are no longer working after dragging. Again, closing and reopening firebug seems to clear the problem for the time being.

Problem 5: Detaching firebug from the window destroys Pixel Perfect more or less completely

I have the same issues. Problem 3 isn't working for me completly. I lost all overlays and can't add new ones. Even restarting firefox isn't working.

I also have the same issues, also sometimes on page refresh, the positioning gets reset to 0, 0 and I have to realign the overlay again

Problems persist with Firefox 6. Another problem I noticed - Pixel perfect only ever is available with every other start of Firefox for me. When it is not available I go into the addon manager and pixel perfect will have a note, that it will be ready after restarting Firefox. And indeed, after restarting Firefox, it is back ... until the next restart.
