Accounts with special characters in passwords cant be used
Hi,
Provider Accounts with special characters in password can not be used for uploading.
Authentications fails all the time. Some providers require special characters in a password so you cant change it and remove it.
But I don't think there will be an update for ngpost, will there? The problem has existed since the beginning
For some time now, bruel has been expected to tell us how the beta version is coming along, but it seems to have been buried, as there is no news about it.
Sorry to say, but I don't think there will be any new releases. Imo there would have been by now :)
Not too long ago there was an active development of version 5 beta, but suddenly it was no longer announced publicly. There were even people who were beta testers.
It's a pity Matthieu won't say anything, he's probably very busy but he could say something about it.
hello, @SeMuh83 I can have a look but it will help if you could contact me directly and share your provider credentials so I could test and figure out what's wrong... would you be ok for it? (I've several accounts, I won't keep yours and I suppose you can change the password after)
@Oleekae @klapvogn well the beta 5 was nearly ready to release but I had some personal issues going on... plus I've been told most people now post without compressing, so what I was doing for the v5 is not so much relevant and I'm thinking about doing something else instead... or add something. I'm going to have some time this month to think about it...
Thank you very much for replying, I'm glad you are still motivated by the project!
As for not compressing, if you were already working on the code to make the obfuscation really solid and flawless, that was enough. As for compression, seen from the outside, everyone is free to upload with/without compression. I don't know if the code had to be polished with that feature, but in that it already worked well. What some people appreciated was to be able to upload automatically (autoposting folder) the directories without having to compress them, that was not allowed in the program. And from my point of view, what would really be an absolutely essential feature is to have an option to do a postcheck/reposting of the articles that are uploaded and fail. For me this feature would be essential.
Thank you for continuing to develop your great tool!
