[v5] After Moving Tabs, Use Setting of "After closing current tab activate" to choose next tab
Description
Browser default is to go to the next tab. So, after moving a group of tabs it goes to the next tab available in that window.
However, for those of us that use the "previous tab" setting in "After closing current tab activate"... it would be great to have an option to have the act of moving tabs also follow the "After closing current tab activate" (or its own option). Typically I think people would want to just have the same setting in both situations.
This is probably a bug, b/c I already use "After closing current tab..." rule for calculating the next active tab if the current active tab will be moved to a different window. Could you write "steps to reproduce" with an actual and a desired result?
Hmm you're right, it's a bug. It works in an env't with less tabs.
This might be something only in my environment with 2k tabs + performance glitches sometimes, like after moving the group of tabs to a new window, it'll even:
- go to a totally random tab in the same panel a few tabs down from its neighbor
- lose the tree structure of the tabs that were moved
I'll update if I can reproduce this but it'll require a larger test. Anyway happens only 10% of the time with a specific area of tabs that I move from/to... so not too big an issue.
Ok, thanks for the details. Will try to reproduce.
