Menu item to add the current tab domain to the matched URL

Open VBoudry opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Description

Adding a new "matched URL" for moving to a panel, requires:

  1. copying the URL of the tab (from the address bar),
  2. opening the sidebery "configure panel",
  3. pasting the URL in the list on a new line (taking care of not leaving an empty line, as it seems to cause problems. Fortunaly the panel jumps to this list.),
  4. eventually removing all the unneeded URL parts.

One to three menu items could be added in the panel menu, in order to add at the end of the list the current tab's

  1. full URL
  2. domain name
  3. full URL "regextized" (i.e. with escape characters inserted in the full URL)

?

That would render the assignation much handier and safer.

Have a nice day, Vincent.

This is a planned feature for v5. I want to add a menu item to configure URL (domain/custom RegEx as you described) to reopen tab in some container and to automatically move tab to some panel.

The third point seems to have not been implemented yet? Tabs that are already open in the panel don't seem to be affected either.
