@acuenya are you trying to upgrade jupyterlab Python package or the JupyterLab Desktop application? If you want to upgrade the desktop application, you can uninstall using these [Windows uninstall instructions](https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab-desktop/blob/master/user-guide.md#windows)...

this is working fine for me on Mac with `Cmd + -` and `Cmd + =`
