Feature Request: Diff current state with different state

It would be useful to be able to go into vimdiff with the current state of a file and a different state in the undo tree. I got this idea from another undo plugin histwin.

This is something I am also interested in! Would be marvelous to apply the diff or just some parts of it to the head of undo tree.
