HP-15c self test

If you do the self test on the hp-15c you get Error 9. I have not tried it on the rest.

Hi Maciej,

Pressing the ON/* key combination runs the self test for a few seconds and then shows the Error 9 message.

Pressing the ON/divide keys runs the key test with no error. Shows 15 at the end.

On the HP16c both test run fine.

Any idea what causes the Error on the hp15 and not on the hp16?

I just run the self test on the hp12 and it run successfully.

So my guess is that the problem is only with the HP15 and probably has something to do with ram allocation.
