Right Option Fails To Act As Forward Delete After Hibernation on Mavericks

When I assign the right option key as the forward delete, and then hibernate my laptop by closing the lid, when it reaches full hibernation and I return (open lid), the key remapping stops and nothing I do inside the DoubleCommand control panel fixes it.

This problem only occurs on Mavericks. I did a fresh re-install of DC on it, using the latest download from SourceForge. This problem never occurred on Snow Leopard.

I have the same problem except with "PC Style Home and End keys". I suspect the problem is larger: DoubleCommand just ceases to work after waking up from hibernation.

If I uninstall it and re-install it, it starts working again. Obviously not a great workaround.
