Feature Req: Show time with toolbar disabled

I'd love to have the time visible when the toolbar is closed.

This could maybe be moved to the top of the toolbar and sit where the colour/line thickness currently are while moving them under the current tool icon.

Or a preference so some of us can have battery level instead. Thanks
