Feature Req: Adjust functionality of the eraser on the Marker Plus

Would it be possible to change which tool to use when using the 'eraser' end of the marker? It would be great if the eraser could be changed to the selection eraser or the selection tool.

I investigated it once, but I couldn't find any way to achieve it. Keep this issue open, though; I'll take another look.
