Feature Req: Compressed Grid for document navigation

Like new features introduced in 0.0.8, hiding page numbers is nice, compressed list for documents navigation's interesting. Can Grid view by compressed as well?

I also thought it might be interesting. I like the grid view but I would probably take a smaller one.
