How will it snap the JCS to this place where nothing is? Or is it still possible to select the surface for other joints?

I guess fit selection is looking at the selected objects in the tree view, not the elements in the sketch, @PaddleStroke can you confirm?

If you dimension the object (fully constrained) you somehow need to include the axis or any reference, right?
